Nasi ala Nasi Ayam Hainam (Rice ala Hainanese Chicken Rice)

Easy and quick. Also delicious to be served with any dishes :D

Ingredients:
430 g long grain rice, wash till water is clear, drained

15 g peeled ginger, bruised
25 g (about 3-4 cloves) garlic, bruised
3 pandan leaves or screwpine leaves, knotted and bruised
2 Tbsp canola oil

2.75 cups water or adjust to the type of rice
1 Tbsp chicken stock powder, Massel
0.5 tsp salt or to taste
0.25 tsp caster sugar or to taste



Directions:
Add oil to the wok and heat on medium heat. Saute ginger and garlic until fragrant. Add rice to the wok and stir for 1-2 minutes.

Put the rice in the rice cooker bowl and pandan leaves. Add water and seasonings. Turn on the rice cooker and let it cook. Once it is cooked, leave it for about 10 minutes.

Remove ginger slices, garlic cloves and pandan leaves. Serve hot.

  4. yoi :D cuma tinggal perbandingan bumbunya aja yg bikin beda antara yg enak dan kurang enak hehehe yg ini pengen aku utik2 lagi, masih gak semantap yg di resto. kali yg ini gak pakai minyak ayam kali ya... chicken stock powdernya vegetarian heheh
